Fire Remediation Works

The Certificate of Compliance with Building Regulations Part B (fire Safety) is now in draft form. Chartered Building Surveyors, Module Group will issue the final Certificate once the safety for the final stage of the remedial works has been collated. The final certificate will be an important achievement for Tolka Vale and it will put Tolka Vale ahead of other apartments and duplexes built between 1991 and 2013, which still have serious structural defects to address.

The Government, under the Housing Agency, announced an Interm Remediation Scheme for Fire Safety Defects in December 2023. A further statutory scheme will be legislated for in 2024. An application will be made to the appropriate scheme by the Owners Management Company for retrospective funding of the works. Members will be kept informed of progress.
